Learning Outcome #6

"Synthesize the ethical implications of human communication."

This outcome delves into the ethical principles that underpin communication practices. Emerson students learn to assess the ethical implications of their communication choices on various stakeholders, considering factors like honesty, transparency, respect, and fairness within broader societal and cultural contexts. This skill equips Emersonians to navigate ethical dilemmas adeptly, making decisions that uphold integrity and foster ethical communication practices.

In my "Introduction to Ethics" class, we explored the foundational principles of ethics and their influence on societal ideologies. Understanding these principles helps me effectively communicate and align my messages with ethical standards.
